Get a house or garage
A plot with a house or garage is the requirement for buying a car of your own.
Nobody in ROB RUN walks for long. If you have no active vehicle, the nearest Parking Terminal rents you a car for free. Owning a car takes a plot with a house or garage, upgrades go into hood, trunk and underbody modules, and the helicopter is reserved for bases in the central district.

The extremely rare item that fully wipes a base also seizes cars parked inside it.
Base →Since the launch patch the Buletti can no longer carry shipments, so pick another car for cargo runs.
Money →You can buy a helicopter only with a base in the central Highlands district, or find one as loot. It needs a helipad.
Map →The register lists every vehicle. This is which one to take once you know what you are carrying.
| Job | Ride | Why this one |
|---|---|---|
| No car of your own yet | Rental | A Parking Terminal hands one over at no charge, and only while you are not already driving something else. |
| Moving a shipment | Owned car, not a Buletti | Cargo still needs a trunk that can haul it. The launch patch took that job away from the Buletti. |
| A faster crossing | Owned car with modules | Hood, trunk and underbody each accept a different modification, and those parts are what raise the car's performance. |
| A base in the central Highlands | Helicopter | The buy option opens for a base in that district, or you pull one from loot. It will not launch without a helipad on the plot. |
The key for a car you bought stays in the key locker on your plot. A Black Market lockpick opens every trunk you walk away from, rental cars and patrol cars included.
